Just a reminder about the new young adult retreat: "Connect" which will be
held at Chamber's Camp from Friday, Aug. 6th - Sunday, Aug. 8th.  Cost is
$130 per couple and $80 for singles.  Suggested age is over 18 and up.  We
have so many wonderful speakers and will keep busy with many fun activities
both on and off the campgrounds!  Registration papers are in the church
foyer on the camp bulletin board and anyone can feel free to contact Me or

Plan Of Salvation
 
CONFESS our sins to God.
     I John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins"
              REPENT of our sins.
    Luke 13:3 "...but unless you repent, you too will perish."
                               BELIEVE Jesus died for us.
   John 3:36 "Whoever believes on the Son has eternal life..."
                                             RECEIVE Jesus by faith as our personal Savior.
  John 1:12 "Yet to all who received him...he gave the right to become children of God."
 

God’s plan of salvation really is a simple plan. If you are sincere and really want to make a change in your life, then you can trade a guilty conscience for peace in your heart. Accept God’s plan for your life. Pray this simple prayer and Jesus will forgive you. 

     Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and in need of your help. I believe that there is a God and that He is hearing my prayer and that He has the power to forgive me of my sins. I confess my sins to you. Please forgive me. I am unhappy with the way I am living and am ready to make a change in my life. Please help me to change my life and live as a Christian. I receive you into my heart. Thank you for hearing my prayer and thank you for forgiving me. Amen.

1. Find a Bible believing church and pastor and begin attending that church on a regular basis.

If you are in the local area or visiting the area please feel free to come join us here at the Canisteo Wesleyan Church for our services. We would love to have you come worship with us.

2. Buy a Bible that you can understand and begin reading some of it every day. Begin with 1 John (toward the back of the Bible near the book of Revelation).

3. Set aside a short time every day when you can pray and ask God’s help for the day.
